Salary – $0- $0 (AUD) Work Type – Full Time Perth – Northern Suburbs & Joondalup
With re-roofing, often carpentry work is required hence our need for another carpenter on our team. From time to time we also build/rebuild verandahs, timber patios, room extensions, decks etc so your expertise will be required on those projects. You will need to have experience in Roof Plumbing as this will be the main part of your role.
You will be working as part of a team under a leading hand.
Criteria
Suitable applicants will;
Be an Australian /New Zealand qualified Carpenter with extensive experience in residential Roof Carpentry,
Have experience in all aspects of Roof Plumbing,
Have a high quality of workmanship,
Have a strong work ethic,
Be self motivated and honest,
Work well in a team,
Follow all instructions,
Have good personal hygiene and present themselves professionally,
Have a white card,
Have a current manual drivers licence and own reliable transport to get to and from designated meeting points,
Have own tools,
Be willing and able to work away Monday to Friday
The following will be an advantage but is not essential;
Have an Asbestos removal ticket
Hold licences on a High Risk card
Hold a Working at Heights card
Location, Hours & Pay Rate
Most of our work is based in country towns all over regional WA so you will be away between Monday and Friday. There is NO weekend work. Your transport (from our office to the jobsite and back), accommodation, breakfast, lunch & dinner will be provided while away. (There will be metropolitan work occasionally)
You will work between 40 and 50 hours per week (dependent on each job and weather)
Pay rate will range between $32.00 – $40.00 per hour plus superannuation, sick pay and holiday pay etc all depending on experience and ability and length of time with our company.
The Position
This is not a sub-contracting position, it is for regular ongoing work not a job to job contract basis. We can offer stable employment.
The Company
Top Gun Roofing & Restoration are a professional company with a Builders Registration that require a qualified Roof Carpenter to join our Roof Plumbing team. We do mostly residential Re-Roofing (very occasionally there may be some new construction or commercial work involved). We remove old tile, iron, decramastic and asbestos roofs and replace with Colorbond or Zincalume.
