The PC Accessories (PCA) Category Manager will be responsible for delivering revenue and profitability results for all PCA Products across all channels within CCG.

They will provide the leadership to develop, build and execute the Category and channel strategy and lead the product go to market.

They will be a key member of the PC Category Management team and lead virtual teams to achieve results and drive excellence in execution through insights and utilizing strong category management skills. &nbsp

Key Responsibilities

Category & Channel Leadership

• The Category Manager will own the development of the PCA marketing strategy and marketing plan. &nbsp This includes deciding where to compete and how to compete across all consumer and small business environments to achieve organization objectives. The strategy will articulate a clear investment approach to maximize the Return on Investment of channel resources such as marketing funds and tactical rebate.

• The focus of this role will be to drive revenue and profit by developing clear objectives and plans in close co-ordination with Corporate and Regional teams. &nbsp He/she will own the internal relationship with Channel Sales and Marketing Leads for business case development, achievement of targets, forecasting process, quarterly retail channel/campaign planning and feedback.

• In addition to driving todays revenue and profit the Category Manager will need to refine the future marketing strategy as more of our devices become cross platform, this will involve understanding the key levers that drive attach to hardware devices.

• The Category Manager will work across CCG to dive strong relationships with key selling partners to deliver results

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead PC Accessories to drive transactional and &nbsp transformational goals and objectives

• Define the strategy to build a sustainable profitable longer term business

• Drive revenue and profit to exceed targets. &nbsp Identify trends and develop tactical initiatives in response to a changing marketplace. &nbsp

• Develop commercially sound and accurate forecasts to ensure tight tolerance on monthly performance. Have a full understanding and knowledge of performance levers ensure growth and close any performance gaps. Provide commentary and insight on performance.

• Serve as the subject matter expert on products and positioning to provide competitive data, mystery shopping results and retailer insights.

• Effectively allocate marketing funds to maximize revenue and advance strategic initiatives. &nbsp Maximize and maintain ROI of marketing activities and establish productive relationships with key partner accounts at the appropriate levels. &nbsp

• Communicate marketing strategies and plans to sales team and incorporate feedback into future planning cycles.

• Gather Competitive Intelligence and disseminate to Marketing & Sales Teams

• Provide guidance and approval for MDF Budgets & Execution Plans.

• Control Advertising, POP/Display Field Merch & Training Budgets and Execution Plans

• Develop direction and guidance for sales teams to drive PCA strategy to consumer markets. Includes production of quality and succinct sell-in deck and face to face retail partner engagement.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential Experience:

• The successful candidate will have a successful track record in consumer category management, or product management

• The candidate will need to be able to demonstrate thought leadership, impact through influence and a solid understanding of running an end to end consumer business

• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills required, including ability to analyze multiple sources of data and recommend actions based on analysis

• Proven track record of managing multiple channels including and especially retail

• The Candidate will need to be able to partner across the business internally and externally

• This role requires a knowledge of marketing with strong business acumen to drive the revenue and unit targets and to be able to stay focused even when dealing with ambiguity. &nbsp

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Strong understanding of overall marketing mix and relevant ROI metrics that demonstrate success.

• A passion for technology; brands and consumers.

• Driving a digital agenda with some prior experience influencing effective marketing campaigns to generate revenue via a retailer’s website and mobile presence advantageous

Personal Attributes/Interpersonal Skills:

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and rally different groups around a single purpose to drive business results

Qualifications:

• Degree qualified, 2-3 years’ experience in product marketing; category management; or FMCG
