VEHICLE / QUALITY INSPECTOR

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a specialised team within the Patrick Division of Asciano, Patrick Autocare is Australia’s premier integrated provider of processing, storage and distribution of motor vehicles. As a result of winning a major contract our team at Brisbane, QLD, currently have multiple opportunities for experienced Vehicle/Quality Inspectors.

This position will se e you conduct a thorough inspection of our pre-delivery fleet of vehicles once they have been loaded from the ships on the wharf. General hours of work will be Monday â Friday, 0600am-230pm, however applicants must be flexible and available for additional hours and weekend work.

Key responsibilities include:

* Ensuring the safety is at the forefront of all your daily activities
* Thorough inspection for damage on pre-delivery fleet of vehicles
* Report any safety, damage & quality issues through our reporting procedures
* Additional duties such as safely driving vehicles to & from processing sheds and to & from storage areas

ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE

With safety at the forefront of all your daily activities you will be able to demonstrate your ability to follow processes in both operations and safety. Process driven and with a high attention to detail, you will be able to communicate effectively with your team to ensure all damages are recorded.

Operating in all weather conditions you will have experience working in the elements with exposure to working outside.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

As part of the selection process, shortlisted applicants will be required to be available for the interview process during the week commencing 4th of January, with a start dates for successful applicants in late January 2016.

Please note as part of our recruitment process, successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical (which includes a drug test) and criminal history check
