A fantastic career opportunity is now available for a Foreman/ Leading Hand to join our highperforming routine road maintenance team in South Australia. As Foreman/Leading Hand, you will be responsible for managing the day to day operationalfacets on-site to deliver optimum results, impart a Safety Culture and ensuresustainable growth of the business into the future. Reporting into the AreaManager you will ensure forward planning and programming to maximise utilisationof resources whilst delivering the key components of the contract and ensuringall performance standards and key performance targets are achieved. You will be able to identify opportunity forcost savings, quality and safety improvement through innovation and takeaccountability for delivering results and actively manage self- performance.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity based out of our Port Piriedepot and is well-suited to an experienced road maintenance/civil roadconstruction/bituminous surfacing position with a high regard for safety and quality.
About you:
Demonstrated experience within the civil road construction or road maintenance industry
Experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman in the a civil construction/road surfacing/road maintenance space (highly desirable)
Previous experience in civil construction/spray sealplant operation
Previous experience in supervisory/foreman duties for project operations.
Effective supervision of personnel, plant, machinery and subcontractors on site
Successful track record with planning, organising and time management
Ability to demonstrate self motivation and initiative
Demonstrated ability with building relationships with key stakeholders
Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
Strong commitment to maintaining a Zero Harm culture
