Managing director
At the age of 28, after a successful introduction into the sports marketing industry, Matthew established Trew Marketing in the summer of 2008. Matthew has a background of excellence both on the sporting field playing cricket, and off in various hospitality and customer service roles.
After completing his Business Management degree at the University of Queensland, Matthew became increasingly frustrated with the lack of opportunity in the workforce. A pecking order always seemed to be established no matter how well he performed, or out performed his co-workers.
After discovering the direct sports and event marketing industry, along with the opportunities that existed, he has never looked back. Matthew began at entry level and advanced to Managing Director within 2 years.
Matthew attributes his success to hard work and determination and a genuine passion and enjoyment for sports and the marketing and sales industry. His hunger and commitment to developing successful people around him has seen the company thrive and expand to where it is today.

Executive Administrator
Catherine has been a part of the team since 2009. She has a background in Real Estate and Finance where she worked for many years with market leaders in both industries this is where she grew her passion for wealth creation.
Catherine has an unconditional enthusiasm to aiding in the successes of all people that are involved in the Trew Marketing Organisation.
Her hands on approach has her involved in every aspect of the company, from sales and promotions at major sporting events to recruitment and development, as well as handling the personal development of Administrators across the Trew Marketing organisation.
Catherine is an inspiration to all involved in the industry and is always willing to assist but she is also a ball of energy and is the life of any party.

THOMAS GIMPEL
Owner Partner
Tom commenced with Trew Marketing November 2013 whilst on break from university.
His sole plan was to make cash over the Christmas break by learning sales and upskilling himself in the Sales and Marketing industry.
About 3 months later Tom showed no interest in leaving and going back to uni; he was having fun and was surprised at how rapidly his skill set was developing.
Naturally, university was put on hold and he decided to put everything into his opportunity with Trew Marketing.
This ‘risk’ has paid off for him immensely, since committing to his career his team has already dominated all others across the country. Tom is now running his own location on the Gold Coast.
He likes to be known as George Clooney because of his charming smile. A great person to be around!

JESSICA PEARSON
Administrator
Jessica was studying nursing at university and working in the hospitality industry before deciding that she wanted to defer her studies and gain experience in a different field before continuing.
When she found out we had an administration opportunity available, she put her hand up as she had never had experience in that field and was eager to learn.
Jess has now been working with us for 4 years, and that nursing career is no longer a part of her goals.
She manages the day to day running of the location and administration duties, a very friendly face and also in love with anything superhero or Star Wars related.
