The Role

Bloomberg is looking for a number of highly motivated, financially astute and experienced sales people to join our rapidly expanding Portfolio and Risk Analytics team in Australia and New Zealand. You will be responsible for representing the suite of Equity & Fixed Income Portfolio and Risk Analytics as well as Bloomberg Professional solutions to both potential and existing clients, including the top tier of financial institutions in Australia and New Zealand.

With a consultative approach, you will identify our clients’ needs and demonstrate how Portfolio Analytics and Risk solutions will help them make the best investment/trading decisions. This role interacts with multiple business areas and requires strong communication and time management skills as well as a confident, team playing, client focused individual. Travel is required.

The Requirements

- Proven Sales/Relationship Management experience. – Working in or selling to the buy-side in Australia i.e. pension funds, investment advisors or mutual funds. – Proven consultative sales and customer relationship skills. – Fluency in English is necessary – Ability to build and maintain solid client relationships. – Equity and Fixed Income market experience. – Ability to identify new prospects and build and maintain solid client relationships. – Excellent communication and presentation skills. – Aptitude to excel in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment. – A self-starter and proactive team player with strong multi-tasking skills. – Aiming to work their way towards CFA, FRM or CIPM would be a plus but not essential.
