The Role:
We are seeking applications for a motivated and driven Cook/ Chef to join our team at our soon-to-be renovated North Strathfield venue. This is a diverse role so were looking for someone with bar, bistro/restaurant, hospitality management experience who is a passionate foodie that can manage their team and drive sales to exceed expectations.
You will be:
Delivering all aspects of the high volume, premium food menu and bar offering.
Managing the food & beverage preparation and execution for all events held at the venue including birthday parties & corporates.
Taking a lead in all aspects of food safety & quality control, ensuring that the food & beverage operation is compliant and operating to regulatory & legislative requirements.
Working in a fast paced environment covering all aspects of the food & beverage operations including, but not limited to customer service, lane sales, bar service and cocktail making as well as the complete preparation and cooking of the entire food menu.
Managing entire stock and control, ensuring minimal wastage and maximum profits.
Training & developing high performing, customer focused team members who will go above and beyond to make every experience memorable for our customers whilst being a passionate promoter of our food & beverage offering.
You will have:
A flexible approach to work hours with day/evening/weekend availability a must!
A passion for cooking
Ability to coach and train team members
Established management experience in a busy commercial environment and able to cope with the speed and demand required
Valid RSA
