Manager – Risk – Information Security – Canberra
Cyber threats, social media, massive data storage, privacy requirements and continuity of the business as usual require heavy information security measures. As an information security specialist, you will lead the implementation of security solutions for our clients and support the clients in their desire to protect the business. You will belong to an international connected team of specialists helping our clients with their most complex information security needs and contributing toward their business resilience. You will be working with our Advanced Security Centres to access the most sophisticated tools available to fight against cybercrime.

About the opportunity
In your role as an IT Security Manager you’ll:
Lead teams on client engagements to deliver innovative outcomes
Apply your previous knowledge in Information Security to guide clients policy, process and reporting frameworks
Provide assistance on EY IT Internal Audit engagements as required
Develop team capability
About you
We’re looking for people with the following experience:
Minimum of 5 years applicable experience in the field of Information Security in areas such as:
Cyber Program Management
Identity and Access Management
Security Monitoring
Asset Management
Business Continuity and Incident Management
Understanding of Government Information Security guidelines such as ISM and PSPF
Understanding and/or application of the Australian Privacy Principles
Previous work related to IT vulnerability testing or documentation
Previous experience in a professional services organisation
Ability to coordinate team activities
High level communication skills both oral and written
To be eligible for this role you also MUST be an Australian Citizen and have the appropriate government security clearance.
