As part of AustralianSupers growth strategy, the infrastructure team is looking to increase its investment capability and is currently recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Investment Analyst and an Infrastructure Investment Analyst.
AustralianSupers infrastructure portfolio has grown to $8.5 billion and is expected to double in the next five years. The growth in the size of the portfolio has allowed AustralianSuper to recently develop a direct investment strategy and platform, as evidenced by over $1.7 billion of landmark investments in NSW Ports (Port Botany and Port Kembla) and Queensland Motorways.
As part of AustralianSupers growth strategy, the infrastructure team is looking to increase its investment capability and is currently recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Investment Analyst and an Infrastructure Investment Analyst.
About the Opportunity
Be part of a broader investment organisation that strives to avoid silo-ing between asset class teams, so benefitting from the ability to inform investment decisions through insights gained from other asset class teams.
Career progression opportunities as part of a fast expanding investment team, depending on business needs/candidate interest in offshore office teams and sub-debt/PPP teams as they are built out.
As a growing fund, there will be a continued requirement to invest additional capital in the infrastructure asset class, and will not constrained by fund raising efforts.
Participate in both local and overseas transactions, which may include travel.
Work across unlisted equity, subordinated debt and PPP transactions.
Essential Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of experience in debt or project finance, mergers & acquisitions or other corporate finance and valuation, or sector knowledge of PPPs, transport, energy or utilities.
Strong Excel skills with financial modelling experience, an analytical mindset, effective written and verbal communication skills along with strong people and relationship management skills.
Tertiary qualifications in a Business related degree or Engineering.
