This is certainly not your standard Director of Nursing/ Care level role. A unique opportunity to oversee the clinical side of a very large flagship facility.
You will have at your disposal a very large team with each of them there to support your role. The facility is broken up into multiple sections each with its own clinical manager. There are also specialist staff across quality, L&D, ACFI, education and HR.
With over 300 beds this is one of the largest and most impressive Residential Aged Care facilities in NSW. A leading NFP organisation who strive to be the best in all areas. You will work in a management team to ensure an efficient and viable facility that excels when it comes to caring for elderly residents.

As the Director Of Nursing/ Director Of Care you will support the General Manager across all operational duties.
You will lead & guide your team across multiple sections ensuring they have all the tools they need to deliver exceptional care. With an eye on continuous improvement you will play a key role in continuing developing this fantastic facility.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We are eager to secure the services on a proven Director Of Nursing/ Aged Care manager who is looking for something a bit different. If you are keen to secure a large role with a well-known company this is for you.
You will also have:
* Registered Nurse qualifications / AHPRA registration
* Strong business acumen with experience in financial management/ budgets
* Proven track record managing residential aged care facilities
* Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement/ change management
* Strong knowledge of relevant aged care legislation, regulations and WH&S
* Excellent knowledge of the accreditation process
* A passion for delivering exceptional levels of care and customer service to residents
* Ability to lead, mentor and motivate a large care team
* Excellent communication/ relationships building skills
* Good computer skills
