The Business Enablement Division combines our core technology, change and architecture functions, enabling us to adapt to the rapidly changing customer expectations, within the banking and technology environment for our organisation.

The Business Solutions Services team is a team of dynamic professionals, across business analysis and solution architecture disciplines who work with stakeholders to develop holistic, end to end solutions (business and technical) across the change lifecycle to meet business intent within the context of BEN organisational objectives, strategy, polices, including the EA framework. We practice in a manner which is collaborative with all our stakeholders, adaptive and responsive to business needs providing the necessary skills and capability to support the delivery of “fit for purpose” business solutions, enabling the Bank to meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:

As a strong leader and influencer, you will provide direction and guidance on programmes ensuring adherence to architecture and design standards and the Enterprise/Target Architectures within the Customer Management environment.

You will have an approach to balancing long-term (strategic) and short-term implications of individual proposals and decisions in a reasoned and pragmatic way.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

· Creation and maintenance of architecture artefacts for our Customer Management function.

· Developing end to end solutions across business, technical and project staff for Customer Engagement and Management applications.

· Provide leadership and guidance to other solution architects and designers operating in the Customer domain, with particular emphasis on our Siebel applications.

· Provide expertise in Siebel configuration, Siebel EAI / EIM, Siebel architecture including Gateway Server, Enterprise Server, Siebel Server, Web Server and Database Server.

· Provide Quality Assurance over the development and implementation of changes to the Siebel environments.

· Analysing issues that arise in the production, development and test environments in a timely manner; ensuring the efficient and proper functioning of Siebel application components

· Plan and assist with the implementation of Siebel upgrades and point releases for all the existing Siebel applications.

· Develop solutions to integrate Siebel with external applications using Siebel EAI and other integration mechanisms as required.

Skills & Experience:

· Proven hands-on design, development, implementation & maintenance experience on Oracle Siebel CRM and UCM 8.x applications

· Excellent knowledge of Industry Best Practices, and how they are applied to the Oracle Siebel CRM and UCM applications.

· Have worked extensively on Siebel CRM and UCM application deployments and an understanding of how and when to apply administration, configuration and customisation.

· Subject Matter Expert in CRM and Master Data Management related technologies

· Experience with Siebel running on Oracle RAC databases

· Expertise in Siebel Data Models and Data Modelling in general.

· Experience with Siebel EAI – Integration workflows, Web Services, Integration Objects, Siebel Adapters, EAI transport adapters, VBCs SOA, WSDL, DTD, XSL.

· Minimum 7 years of Siebel design, development and implementation experience (8.x preferred).

· Strong Siebel configuration and scripting experience

· Siebel Core Consultant certification.

· Minimum 10+ years’ technology delivery experience working across the SDLC.

· Experience leading small to medium sized teams in the delivery of Siebel CRM and UCM changes.

The role of Solution Architect is to execute on the Solution Architecture function in a collaborative and consultative way. The Solution Architect is accountable for the quality of the solution throughout the change lifecycle and through to implementation, in alignment with Enterprise Architecture guidelines, solution deliverability and maintainability guidelines, solution design standards and project delivery methodology.

The level of involvement of the Solution Architect during the delivery stage of the lifecycle, post business case will vary according to complexity, size and detail required for completion of the logical design, as defined in the solution proposal. For example, a solution architect maybe required to complete a further level of solution architecture to facilitate the completion of the logical design in the analysis and design stage of a project or on a program.
