Marketing Coordinator – contract

(6 months + possible 6 month extension)

Tunstall Healthcare – Eagle Farm, Brisbane

We are looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic individual for a maternity-leave contract position to join our marketing team based at our premises in Eagle Farm, Brisbane.

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the marketing coordinator position involves the creation of high-quality media and communications content, coordination of marketing campaigns and strategies, identification, planning and coordination of events, design and coordinating the development of publications, liaising with marketing suppliers, and the production of tracking reports on marketing activities.

The successful applicant will possess strong relationship management and communication skills, with demonstrated experience in event planning and media writing. A minimum of two years experience in a similar role is required, along with a bachelor degree in marketing, communications, business or similar from a recognised tertiary institution.

The successful candidate will have:

·    Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, business or similar from a recognised tertiary institution.

·    Display sound understanding of marketing theory and practice, with at least 2 years marketing experience.

·    Intermediate level of competency in the use of computers and office equipment, including Microsoft applications, Adobe creative suite and business systems relevant to the role.

·    Demonstrated experience in event planning and coordination.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Assist in providing high quality media and communications content and support to all internal and external stakeholders, including internal staff communications.

·         Assist in the implementation and coordination of communication strategies and marketing campaigns.

·    Design and coordinate the development of external and internal publications when required (print and/or digital content) and liaise with design agencies and print houses.

·    Manage, maintain and coordinate ongoing development of online presence, including external website, internal intranet portal, social media and SEO.

·    Advise and assist with communication activities to maintain corporate policy and standards including editorial style, corporate image and use of logo.

·    Identify, plan and coordinate events, and attend where required.

·    Maintain marketing department administration and produce tracking reports on marketing activities.
