Atlas Copco Mining and Rock Excavation Australia is currently seeking a Service Manager to join our team to lead and manage the day to day operations of our Kalgoorlie service team. Reporting to the National Service Manager you will primarily be accountable for:
Ensuring best practices and standards of service excellence are delivered to all customers ensuring long term loyal relationships that are profitable with high focus on safety and environmental at all times.
Leadership of service personnel (includes on-going development/training).
Management of service contracts.
Preparation and presentation of quotations along with service supervisors.
Cost control, service invoicing and branch profitability.
Occupational safety, health, quality and environment.
A commitment to working in a quality assured environment is vital
Required Skills
You’re background will include:
Tertiary education in mining and mechanical engineering .
Solid knowledge and understanding of cost control and budgeting.
Proven leadership experience.
Financial acumen including an understanding of budgets, equipment costs and operating influences on costs.
Sound customer liaison and negotiation skills.
Demonstrable people management abilities.
Effective communication, planning and organisational skills.
Knowledge of Atlas Copco equipment (highly regarded).
High level of computer literacy in MS word & Excel.
Pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen, as well as relevant police background checks shall be conducted on successful applicants.
