Job Summary
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Marketing Advisor to join our AECOM team based in Townsville. This role is responsible for coordinating all North and Central Queensland and Northern Territory marketing and communications activities in collaboration with the Queensland Marketing Manager and Regional Manager for North Queensland and Northern Territory.
Working closely with the Queensland Marketing and Communications team based in Brisbane, the Marketing Advisor will liaise with key individuals and groups in the NQ,CQ and NT area to deliver day-to-day responsibilities of the role.
Minimum Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Identify and coordinate marketing activities for all NQ/NT business lines and ensure marketing activities are aligned with broader ANZ and NWA marketing and branding objectives.
Brand Management brand champion for the NQ NT offices.
Coordinate project and staff photography.
Support with business critical bids. This may include and not limited to the development of project profiles and pen pics, writing, bid review and editing, and facilitating bid strategy workshops.
Development and management of local marketing collateral including project profiles, skills profiles, capability statements and team sheets, including drafting, editing, layout and printing as required.
Undertake an editorial review of key elements of the bid documentation to ensure clarity, conciseness and demonstration of value proposition.
Management of Salesforce including ongoing training for NQNT.
Develop and implement Annual Client Corporate event Plan and Sponsorship plan for NQ/NT.
Work with key client contacts to identify and coordinate cross-promotional opportunities including client events, exhibitions, and awards submissions.
Identify public relations opportunities and work closely with the Senior Communications Advisor to prepare press releases as opportunities arise.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree qualified in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline.
Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to build internal capability of others
Demonstrated marketing experience for a large, diverse organisation. Experience in a business to business environment, or professional services environment, is favourable.
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement programs and initiatives
Event coordination and/ or management experience
Experience working with client databases
The ability to develop creative marketing solutions within corporate guidelines.
Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills.
Strong creative writing skills, including the ability to draw out, identify and communicate key messages.
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
