early childhood intervention for children with disabilities

resources and mentoring for practitioners and other agencies

The role

The Recruitment Coordinator is accountable for managing, advising and assisting managers and staff to achieve all their recruitment needs across all SDN services in NSW and ACT.

Key accountabilities include:

Monitor recruitment processes and ensure compliance with SDN policy and procedures

In consultation with the hiring manager determine the best and most cost effective sourcing strategy, ensure quality and consistent advertising, ensure candidate care is at the highest level

Ensure managers are trained in best practice recruitment processes

Build and maintain good working relationships with recruitment agencies and other external clients.

Ensure online job notice boards such as SDN Website, Seek, MyCareer etc. are up to date.

Casual and trainee/graduate recruitment programs.

Ensure recruitment key performance indicators are met and recruitment costs are contained.

Manage the recruitment database accurate and effectively

Assist in other HR team activities and projects

Demonstrate an awareness of and commitment to child safety and comply with the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998.

This is a maximum term parental leave contract until November 2016.

About you

You will have

tertiary qualifications in HR/Business or relevant qualifications

experience in volume recruitment

a sound knowledge of recruitment systems

ability to work as part of a team and independently with limited supervision

excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

the ability to multi task, prioritise and work to strict deadlines
