We are seeking to appoint a motivated, dynamic and professional individual with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the permanent full-time position of Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor. This is a unique opportunity to take responsibility for fostering an environment that allows children, their families and staff to flourish and develop to their full potential.
Position based at A Step Ahead Camberwell – 98 place centre

Strong client focus with a commitment to excellence and evidence of the ability to relate to children, parents and related groups and individuals in formal and informal settings;
Evidence of ability to supervise and develop volunteer staff;

Evidence of conflict resolution skills of the highest order;
Evidence of being honest and trustworthy; and
Adhere to the Centre’s privacy statement;
A professional and positive attitude at all times.
You will possess a sound knowledge of:
National Quality Framework;
Childrens (Education and Care Services National Law) state based ;
Education and Care Services National Regulation 2011;
In particular the state based Specific Provisions;
Childcare software Qikkids and CCMS;
Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority;
Skills and knowledge of business operations and management;
Microsoft Office suite, including MS Word and Excel, at a proficient level.
Essential
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Early Childhood Director role;
Completed an Early Childhood Degree or Diploma in Childrens Services;
Certified Supervisor;
Knowledge of the Children’s Services Regulations;
Knowledge of Early Years Learning Framwork;
Current working with children check
Current State based Driver’s License.
Hold a current recognised First Aid Certificate; and
Hold a current recognised Resuscitation Certificate.
Current Child Protection Course as required under 273 of Education and Care Services National Regulations State based Specific Provisions.
