The function will primarily comprise of the efficient maintenance of all MNCLHD buildings, plant and equipment to a standard that will enable the safe occupation of such buildings, and the safe use of such equipment and facilities by all staff, patients and visitors. Participation in physical resource acquisition processes, including tendering procedures; valuation of physical resources; planning of new facilities; and disposal of resources no longer required will be significant components of the function. The Network Manager Physical Resources will be required to work within a team environment, co-operating closely with executive staff within the Coffs Harbour Clinical Network, District and line managers in individual MNCLHD facilities. In exercising the function, the Network Manager Physical Resources will be expected to demonstrate a continuing commitment to the delivery of Quality Asset ManagemenServices; to the intrinsic value of Occupational Health and Safety; and a focus on the needs of the customers of the Physical Resource Management Service. It is also expected that the Network Manager Physical Resources will demonstrate the capacity to implement and monitor Equal Employment Opportunity policies and strategies
