At ORIX we are continuing to grow our Fleet Management and Leasing business and as a result we are in search of a commercially focused and hands-on network administrator with supervisory experience to lead help desk and technical support activities for our Australian business.
As a member of the IT Infrastructure team you will be responsible for delivery outcomes, end user experience, end user satisfaction and the identification of continuous improvement initiatives for all computer, network, voice and communications systems. In this newly created role based at our Macquarie Park head office some of your responsibilities will include:
Resolving customer support escalations by phone and email whilst also managing members of the helpdesk team
Measuring and reporting on service delivery performance metrics
Ensuring core systems are running smoothly
Documenting changes to systems for training purposes
Mentoring and coaching helpdesk staff and monitoring competency areas and development plans
Ensuring the provision of support for end users and recommend suitable software and hardware
Managing internal and external level agreements to ensure service standards are met
Supporting business initiatives and maintaining business relationships
Ensuring technology assets and networks are used and operated in the most secure and confidential manner possible, and in accordance with desired privacy constraints
Delivering a robust, flexible and cost effective network and telecommunications infrastructure.
Implementing and supporting a customer service culture and feedback satisfaction levels across the business
Testing and reviewing business continuity and disaster recovery plans regularly
Maintaining an awareness of technological developments and current practice
To be considered for an interview, you will possess:
A high degree of customer engagement that will see you multi-tasking and utilising your broad knowledge and experience of all things IT
Strong customer service skills and the ability to embed a service culture
An understanding of business-driven IT and financial performance metrics
Knowledge of IT capabilities and emerging technologies
The ability to transfer skills, knowledge and best practices
Capable of being hands on and leading by example
Willingness to be a visible, collegial, results-oriented player
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels
Ability to manage relationships with vendors of both products and outsourced services
An analytical and innovative focus with highly developed problem solving skills
Previous people management experience is essential
Willingness to travel interstate occasionally
