AustralianSupers infrastructure portfolio has grown to $8.5 billion and is expected to double in the next five years. As part of AustralianSupers growth strategy, the infrastructure team is looking to increase its investment capability and is currently recruiting for an Investment Manager Infrastructure Investment.
AustralianSupers infrastructure portfolio has grown to $8.5 billion and is expected to double in the next five years. The growth in the size of the portfolio has allowed AustralianSuper to recently develop a direct investment strategy and platform, as evidenced by over $1.7 billion of landmark investments in NSW Ports (Port Botany and Port Kembla) and Queensland Motorways.
As part of AustralianSupers growth strategy, the infrastructure team is looking to increase its investment capability and is currently recruiting for an Investment Manager Infrastructure Investment.
About the Opportunity
Relationships support and maintain close relationships with existing fund managers and co-investors, prospective managers and agents who can assist in the execution of the Infrastructure Portfolio Strategy.
Portfolio management coordinate portfolio monitoring, manager performance, internal reporting and performance attribution activities of the Infrastructure Portfolio as a whole.
Investment management monitoring, review, performance analysis, investor governance and reporting on specific investments within the Portfolio.
Transaction support provide assistance in the investment review, analysis, negotiation and execution of new direct investments by the portfolio team and/or by agents under instruction from AustralianSuper.
Role can be tailored for candidates requiring a flexible work schedule.
Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in a Business related degree or Engineering.
10 years in the financial services sector with 5+ years experience in the infrastructure sector as an investor, principal sponsor or financial advisor.
Sound knowledge of valuation principles and practices for unlisted infrastructure assets.
Strong people, relationship management and influencing skills.
