Solution Architect
Software architect is responsible for the technical direction of a project.
Makes high level design choices for the software structure, frameworks,
protocols, and algorithms. Determines coding practices, development tools, and
validation requirements. Performs pathfinding and surveys technologies.
Interacts with multiple technologists in the company and within the industry
as well as between developers and project managers to evaluate feasibility of
requirements and determine priorities for development. Responsibilities
includes but not limited to – - Perform research and recommend technology to
improve the current systems in support of organization’s strategic vision. – Responsible for translating business requirements into specific systems,
applications, data or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and
integrating architecture. Design, develop, and analyze overall architecture. – Determine Integrated hardware, software and data architecture solutions that
meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs. Lead on
architectural governance and decisions related to Product , Technology and
system tradeoffs as part of a cross functional architecture decision group. – Provide technical guidance, solution design activities and integration to the
team. – Ability to listen, understand and respond professionally to customers
including strong technical writing and presentation skills – Work in close
collaboration with the business and technical teams to deliver the solution
and ensure compliance to all architectural guidelines
Qualifications
– Bachelors or Master’s degree in Science with over 10+ years of experience
or a Masters in Information Systems with equivalent experience – The
successful candidate should demonstrate Depth in solution designing; broader
enterprise and solutions architecture skillset, ability to be an hands-on
expert consulting with development teams to ensure architecture compliances – Understanding of Cloud/SAAS solutions models and trends – Experience with
integrating enterprise platform/cloud solutions, including master data – Understanding and Knowledge of Sales Marketing operations data highly
preferred. – Understanding of Revenue and Demand Management business processes
and systems highly preferred – Hands on experience architecting and
implementing worldwide scable solutions – Experience in Requirements
Engineering, Solution Architecture, Design, Development and Deployment. – Experience in building scalable web applications in cloud-based environments – Expertise with different databases (SQL NoSQL): mongoDB, PostgreSQL, mysql,
riak, etc. – Knowledgeable about the open source systems and latest
technologies in the Industry. – Knowledgeable in the analytics domain like Big
data, Hadoop including high availability, infrastructure planning, capacity
planning, design patterns, etc. – Experience working on Agile Scrum project is
highly desirable. Other Requirements: – Knowledgeable and passionate about
user experience best practices. – A strong team player with initiative and
self-motivation. – Good interpersonal skills with strong x-org collaborations.
– Familiarity with Agile development process. – Scaled agile development
process experiences a plus. – IT Service management knowledge a plus. – Excellent written and verbal skills
