Description:

As a forecasting Business Analyst your primary area of focus will be on the
regular review and modeling of call volume used to determine and plan for
capacity needs. In addition to strong Statistical and Modeling skills this
role requires the ability to communicate information concisely, both verbally
and in presentation form, and the ability to work closely with senior
management to assist them in balancing finance and business goals.

Responsibilities:

General responsibilities are to assist the leadership team in understanding
key volume drivers to create an accurate forecast, analyzing and communicating
changes and variances to forecast. Incumbent will help create and support
forecasting management process including the creation of a set of standard
analytic packages to create transparency in the forecast process. This
historical variance tracking, version to version change communication, and
proactive communication around key events and dates that may prove challenging
to manage.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

Effectively analyzing variances of actual results to budget and forecast and
providing meaningful recommendations and observations.

Preparing accurate and timely consolidated monthly reports including Budget
submissions to finance.

Monitoring of data trends and analyzing patterns in data.

Interpreting results/reports, explaining relationships in data and making
recommendations when needed.

Creating and disseminating standardized reports at regular intervals.

Creating customized analyses/reports in support of business operations.

Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and report consistency.

Soliciting and collating data from critical operations areas and partners,
including marketing, risk, compliance, and multiple business areas.

Balancing regularly scheduled deliverables with special requests and immediate
business needs.

Providing support to peer analysts by proofing, auditing, and modifying data
reports, providing back-up reporting, and sharing critical resources and
information to ensure team success.

Develop and maintain working knowledge of business functions and stakeholders
and implications for reporting and business operations.

Preparing accurate and timely consolidated monthly reports

Evaluating changes (RCR’s) in the environment and their impact to the business
demand; working with stakeholders in prioritizing/de-prioritizing a certain
change as well as assisting with the timing of the change execution, as
applicable.

Education:

Bachelors degree, Masters degree or higher preferred

Analytical Skills:

Strong Statistical background and hands-on experience in its usage is an
advantage

Significant forecasting experience required, strong modeling background is a
plus

Strong communication and presentation skills

Experience in data analysis, developing trend and comparison reporting

Interpreting results/reports/trend information, explaining relationships in
data and making recommendations when needed.

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint required, Access
and SQL a plus). Strong proficiency in creating and managing complex,
connected workbooks/sheets, manipulating/segmenting data (, pivot tables,
filtering), constructing macros, and generating complex formulas and
calculations.
