Job Overview/SummaryDevelopment and Production maintenance of customized Web
Applications.
– Development of web pages and application using Microsoft .Net technology.
Implementation of stand-alone components in applications for achieving
business requirements.
– Creation of User and Technical documentation
– Maintenance of development servers and environment.
– Work with Quality Assurance to resolve development and production issues.
– Work with Quality Assurance to automate application testing.
Job Responsibilities
– Development of web pages for SonicWALL web application User Interfaces
using ASP.NET 4.0, AJAX, C#, hands on experience in ASPX, VBScript,
JavaScript, HTML , XML and XSL.
– Development of web pages for SonicWALL Product integration interfaces using
ASP.NET and WCF allowing globally deployed SonicWALL devices to make status
checks on a central database.
– .NET components development and implementation in SonicWALL web
applications. Component development is based on requirement specifications and
component implementation is based on published interfaces.
– Enhance and maintenance of E-COM features and applications
– Development of windows admin scripts to support application deployment
related tasks if needed.
– Creation of documentation intended for the user community of the
application explaining the features and functions of the application
– Creation of technical documentation that describes functional behavior of
the application or subcomponents
– Final compilation of development code from the web applications team.
– Creation and maintenance of application installation packages (MSI) using
Install Shield Installer/.Net installer. These are handed over to Operations
for deployment in QA and Production environments.
– Support for Operations during deployments
– Work with Quality Assurance to reproduce, analyze and resolve development
and production issues.
– Generate automated testing scripts for SonicWALL applications using a Test
Suite.
– Four-year college degree in Engineering or Masters in a related field.
– 4-6 years of experience in web applications and an aptitude for
programming.
– Technical Skills:
– Languages: C#, JavaScript, VBScript, Visual Basic, Visual C++, Perl
– Strong experience with Microsoft .NET Framework
– DBMS: Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012
– Internet Related: ASP.NET 4.0, WCF, WMI, ADO.NET, AJAX, JavaScript,
HTML4.0+, XML, XSL, HTTP, HTTPS, Internet Information Server 7.0+
– Tools: Visual Studio 2010+
– UI Framework: Sencha, Bootstrap
– Others: Install Shield, Telerik .NET Control, Active Directory, LDAP
– Clear, effective communication, both verbal and written.
