Position: Java/ J2EE Developer, WebSphere Application Server
Years of experience: 3 to 7 years
This is a support role and require to work in the early morning shift (start
at 2:30am), work from home option is available.
After work hours on call support is required. This role is eligible for shift
allowance and on call allowance.
Immediate joiner required or maximum notice period of 30 days
Primary Skill/ Core Skills
* Hands on experience in Java/J2EE development and Hands on Websphere application Server
* Excellent communication skills to communicate with stakeholders with varied experience
* MVC, Srping, Hibernate, Web Services, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, XML, JSON, EJB or JPA, JMS, JMX, LDAP, ANT, JUNIT, Eclipse Rich UI, solutions and products,
* Experience in Spring Framework, Struts, JQuery
* WEBSPHERE APPS SERVER 7.x, , EJB or JPA. Spring , MVC.
* Hands on experience Websphere RAD 9
* Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using JavaServer Faces (JSF).
* Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
* Experience with Extensible Markup Language (XML)
* Experience with SAP Data Services (ETL) is preferred.
* Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc).
* Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
* Experience in developing web applications using popular web framework (JSF, Struts,Spring MVC), WebServices, HTML, CSS, Javascript.
* Experience with Oracle 11g/12c
* Experience in version control tools Clear Case, SVN& CVS etc.
* Experience managing implementations with many system integrations/dependencies
* Software Devel Lifecycle experience including waterfall, iterative, and agile
* Excellent team player with team building skills
* Excellent Comm Skills – verbal and written
* Understand architecture and integrations with Java based SOA
* Build/Deploy process knowledge in Java applications
* Change Mgmt process knowledge and tool experience ( CA service desk, HP Service Mgr)
* Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
* Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
* Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
* Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
* Prepare and produce releases of software components.
* Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
* Providing 3rd line support to the helpdesk and operations teams.
* Supporting production systems as required outside of standard working hours and participate in 24×7 on-call rota
