Perfect conditions on the final day at Dakhla Attitude saw Liam Whaley take the first Freestyle event win under the new VKWC banner. He beat current world champ Christophe Tack into second position. Karolina Winkowska, current women’s world champion beat Giusela Pulido, to take the women’s title. Liam’s consistent high-scoring repertoire of mind-blowing tricks and Karolina’s powerful and varied manoeuvres, including a KGB, saw them fend off the other competitors to top the podium.

25 knots saw the always impressive Kevin Langeree going huge to claim the men’s Big Air title and the incredible Gisela Pulido dominating as she had in Tarifa, 2014, to take the women’s title.
