Why Go?:
Hurghada is the original Red Sea Resort for windsurfing holidays and now offers kitesurfing, diving & multi activity holidays. It’s still one of the best locations for learning to kitesurf with flat water, lagoons and superb centres offering flexible packages.

Riding on Offer:
A shallow launch that reaches 5m into the lagoon guarantees a good start here into a perfect flat water area. Beyond the bay, with the wind blowing cross shore from the left, you will find a classic swell of 1m. The large beach is also particularly appropriate for learning to kitesurf with plenty of space downwind. Lying on the windward side of the bay, beginners will appreciate having the larger part of the bay in front of them without having to tack.

There are a few 3 & 4* resorts in which are in walking distance from the kite centre and spot, but there are lots of options in Hurghada.

Flat Day Fun:
Hurghada is a busy resort and offers a great range of activities and entertainment. The Tommy Friedl ProCenter offers a range of additional activities including volleyball, wakeboarding and quad bike safaris in the desert, go-carting and trips to the Titanic Aqua Park. The best of Egyptian cultural excursions – Luxor and the Valley of the Kings are offered as a day trip. In the evening you will find a good number of restaurants, bars and nightclubs as well as a great beach scene with beach BBQs and evening entertainment. Hurghada is an established red sea diving location with a choice of courses, dive packages and access to over 37 dive sites.
