Earlier this month MAC launched its brand new Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour collection here in Switzerland and today I’m reviewing one of the reds from the range for you. Take a look!
MAC describes Feels So Grand as a deep true red and that is exactly what it is. The color truly is textbook red and has a matte finish that is so flawless it’s almost ridiculous. Seriously you guys, the MAC Feels So Grand Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour goes on so smoothly and looks so perfectly even that I couldn’t stop looking in the mirror the first time I wore it!
And it lasts like crazy, too! I wore Feels So Grand for the first time for my husband’s birthday and the color looked pretty much flawless from the moment I applied it first thing in the morning until I took it off again at night. Through meals, drinks, birthday kisses, cake and everything! Oh, and also: free teeth-whitening effect.
The only drawback I can think of is maybe the fact that the formula can feel slightly dry, but that’s to expect from a matte product. All in all I really love the velvety smooth texture of the MAC Feels So Grand Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour and I just can’t get over how even, long-wearing and fool-proof it is. That’s right, ‘matte lipstick’ and ‘fool-proof’ in one sentence, it’s possible!
Bottom line? I’m a fan. MAC deserves two big fat thumbs up for this one.
