North Battleford RCMP responded to over 90 calls for service in the noted time period.

2015.01.23

-Report of a home on the 2000 block of 95th street broken into some time between January 17th and this date.  Unknown person appears to have entered home to sleep there, nothing missing.

-At least two reports of a male trying to sell television from a van, described as a silver Chrysler Town and Country, made between 1 and 230 p.m.  Subject reported to be near the Frontier Mall was not located by members at time of complaints.  Investigation ongoing.

-Theft of gasoline reported from a business on Highway 16 Bypass at 5:52 p.m.  Suspect vehicle described as a Silver Dodge Caravan, last seen northbound on Battleford Road.

-Theft of gasoline reported from a business on the 800 block of 106th Street at 630 p.m.  Suspect vehicle located and outstanding bill taken care of.

-A white 1997 Dodge Caravan with Saskatchewan License 083 JNV reported stolen from the 11000 block of 9th Avenue.

-Call of a male asked to leave a bar shortly after 11 p.m., who is continually trying to come back in.  37 year old male located, very intoxicated, and found to be on conditions not to consume alcohol.  Arrested and charged for Failing to comply with an Undertaking.

-Report of a robbery.  Incident said to have occurred shortly after midnight, not reported until after 8 a.m. by a third party.  Alleged victim suffering from a stab wound provided some details of incident but was not completely forthcoming with investigators.  Subject was walking from the east side of city, and was confronted by two males who assaulted him and got away with a sum of cash.  Victim was treated for injuries which are not life-threatening.  Victim was not willing to provide further details when questioned.  Investigation is still ongoing at this time.

-A 42 year old man is facing a charge of Assault after a report on the 1100 block of 101st Street at approximately 3:00 a.m.  The accused is alleged to have struck the victim and thrown her to the ground.  The victim was reporting a sore arm at the time of the incident but did not require medical attention.  The accused has since been released from custody and is scheduled to make his first appearance in Provincial Court on February 5th.

-Report of a vehicle parked on the 900 block of 107th Street damaged some time between January 22nd and this date.  A back tail light reported damaged.

-A vehicle parked on the 2100 block of 101st Crescent was entered overnight and some change and other personal items reported stolen.

-Report of a hit and run on the 1100 block of 100th Street at 3:25 p.m.  Vehicle parked on street was struck by another vehicle which then reportedly fled scene.  Suspect vehicle has since been positively identified and charges are currently pending against the male driver.

-Report of windows damaged on some vehicles parked in a lot on the 1900 block of 104th Street at approximately 11 p.m.  Suspect witnessed leaving area described as slim wearing a black hoody.

-Theft of gasoline from a business on the 16 Higway Bypass at 1116 p.m.  Suspect vehicle described as a Newer black Chevrolet pickup with Alberta plates.

-Report of a damaged door to an underground parking garage on the 1400 block of 102nd Street some time over the previous night.  Some cars in the parking garage were gone through as well.

-Shoplifting call from a business on the 1800 block of 100th Street at 425 p.m.  Female suspect left scene in a older red wine coloured Pontiac van.

-Single vehicle collision on Railway Avenue east at approximately 4:30 p.m.  Vehicle lost control, road conditions were slippery at the time of the incident.  Driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Icy road conditions contributed to the 11 collisions reported over the weekend, particularly on Saturday the 24th, most of which were minor caused little damage.  Members also arrested 13 subjects for Alcohol related matters.  Other incidents included 12 reported minor disturbances, 4 false/nuisance 911 calls, 7 Mental Health Act investigations, 1 Child Welfare investigation, 1 minor Fraud, 3 Bylaw complaints, 7 Traffic investigations, 5 Alarms responded to and 1 reported Missing person who has been located.
