The Abbot Kinney Festival offers unique Southern California pieces to shop for home and body. It takes place annually on the last Sunday of September and is a free event with live music, delicious food trucks, and Abbot Kinney shops, kids areas, artisanal vendors, and beer gardens.
Washed Ashore Adornments
Inspired by the love for the sea, Washed Ashore Adornments is a gorgeous jewelry brand in Los Angeles, CA. Its jewelry is casted in downtown LA’s jewelry district, while the assembly and wire-wrapping is done in its Manhattan Beach, CA studio.
Rather than collect their gems from the earth, Washed Ashore Adornments creates their own gems. They believe that the “cold-molding” process of making gems is “more eco-conscious than mass collecting organic matters from the sea that are already scarce.”
Nerina Necklace is perhaps my favorite piece. The name is Greek for “sea nymphs” and it features hand wire-wrapped pearls and delicate chain. Follow them on Instagram
