I’m so excited this month! Style it Project and Winter Luxe Style Challenge have both kicked off. The weather has cooperated by turning quite chilly willy literally overnight, and my Instagram feed is filled with gorgeous luxe winter dressing.

Chambray Shirt Dress | What I Wore
For the first day of Winter, I rocked the button through version of the Mix Apparel Chambray Shirt Dress. I’m not a fan of self-fabric tie belts – they’re not flattering on my hourglass-with-too-much-sand-in-the-middle figure. However, a more structured leather belt is perfect for waist definition!
I’ve added a Forever New tan belt, colour pop tights from Sussan, my beloved old Country Road brogue-style Chelsea boots, and a snuggly patterned Review long line cardigan. A gorgeous semiprecious stone necklace from Red Phoenix Emporium, worn hipster-style over my buttoned up collar, completes my look.
I styled the half-placket Mix Apparel Chambray Shirt Dress as a tunic. The lighter wash works back with my classic denim skinnies for a cute double denim look.
To keep me toasty warm, I’ve added a blue and black Country Road merino knit with a hi lo hem. Tan Wittner brogues combine with a Blush & Co necklace and Posh & Frolic hair bow for a quirkily accessorised look.
