MOUNT PLEASANT—The Mount Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce named Northeast Animal Hospital the third quarter winner of the Mount Pleasant Community Pride Award for exceptional property maintenance.
Owners Dr. Travis and Chris Van De Berg accepted the award during the “Alive After Five” networking event at Your Dream Home Furniture & Floors on July 6, 2016.
The Mount Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors created the Community Pride Award to honor those businesses and organizations that showcase exceptional maintenance and investment in their properties and to encourage other businesses to follow their lead. Winners are selected quarterly. Northeast Animal Hospital was selected for the Community Pride Award among several nominees.
“I believe the team at Northeast Animal Hospital has responded to our community by providing a first class facility big enough to handle future and current growth in their industry. Not only is the interior remodel excellent, the upgrades to their exterior landscaping is very inviting when pulling into their property,” said Mike Anderson General Manager of Shottenkirk Automotive and Chamber Board Member.
Northeast Animal Hospital is proud to be a part of the Mount Pleasant community. Dr. Travis and Chris Van De Berg have owned the existing practice for the last six years. “We wanted to make improvements that would help us better serve our clients as well as making the space inviting and functional for our expanded services and technology,” commented Chris Van De Berg, Practice Manager of Northeast Animal Hospital. “We are proud of our community and want to provide exceptional care to all of those that enter Northeast Animal Hospital.
