Today’s gen- next are way more smarter than what we think. I firmly believe as a parent, that my 4-year-old child grasps concepts that I might have found difficult to understand as an 8-year old! As much as that makes us proud, it also gets me and my husband, thinking. The constant questions such as ‘Are we channelising her talents and abilities in the right way’ keep plaguing us and leaves us wondering, as parents. Books, apps and games are great in helping us keep the little minds engaged, but isn’t time we up the game and prepare them for the future? Kompanions does exactly what we had on our minds.
Story Behind Kompanion
Yuvraj Krishan Sharma, Co-Founder and Director, Kompanions, always had a flair for technology and the latest trends in the market, given his engineering background. When analysing the impact that emerging technologies could have on children and the learning medium, he realised the huge gaps in learning and how today’s kids needed a smarter environment to showcase their talent and be future-ready. In what started as a two-member team in Gurugram in 2015, Kompanions has indeed come a long way, having partnered with Pearson Publishers and other leading schools in the country.

Why Parents And Kids Will Love Kompanion
We love the whole concept of VR and AR entering our living room and making our kids smarter. The fact that Kompanions caters to kids as young as in Kindergarten is praiseworthy.
The detailing that goes into each component of KUBE is something that struck a chord with me as a parent.
In addition to the emerging technology, the Activity Kit and the 3D Journals kept my child engaged and hooked to the KUBE, much to my delight!
Kompanions looks to redefine the concept of learning for kids and given today’s scenario with numerous gaps in the education system, this seems like the way to go. With diagnosing your child’s brain performance in key areas such as intelligence, holistic growth and thinking new, they look to reduce that gap in the technical know-how.
The contents of the KUBE are known to build the essential skills of your children such as visualisation, gross motor skills, thinking skills, creative writing, exploration among the others.
The products are priced reasonable considering the awesome experience they provide to the child. Also, they have a promotional discount offer on- so now is the right time!

What We Would Like To See
The videos and instructions for AR/VR and the app are well explained, but it took a little while for us to get the kids convinced and explain it to them. A little more child-friendly, perhaps?
Right now, people will probably be put off at the ultra high-tech interface of the product and not exactly buy it for their kids. Kompanion would probably benefit by letting people know how user friendly it is.
There is a still a lot of things unknown about AR and VR and parents might not exactly be thrilled about introducing these new concepts to their kids. Kompanion will definitely have to overcome that hurdle.
