If your kid loves movies, then 2017 has some really good line-up of them! 2016 has been a great year with a whole lot of charming releases such as Finding Dory, The BFG, and Miss Peregrine’s Home, entertaining our kids to the fullest. And the great news is 2017 also has a whole lot of kids movies in the pipeline. So, grab some yummy popcorn and take your little one on a movie date! 1. A Dog’s Purpose

A film based on W. Bruce Cameron’s 2010 novel, A Dog’s Purpose is about a pet’s journey, who is born multiple times, to find the purpose of life. In this journey, he is back to improve the lives of his owners from each birth, especially Ethan; the little boy he comes back to as an adult.

2.  The Lego Batman Movie

Comedian Will Arnett is back as Bruce Wayne aka Batman in this upcoming 3D computer-animated superhero film. A spin-off of the 2014 film, The Lego Batman revolves around Bruce Wayne’s personal journey as he saves Gotham City from criminals while raising his adopted boy.

3. Beauty and The Beast

After seeing success with other live-action fairytales, including Kenneth Branagh’s Cinderella and Maleficent, Disney is back with yet another adaptation. A live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, the film stars  Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Emma Thompson, Josh Gad, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Ian McKellen in the lead.

4. Power Rangers

5. The Boss Baby

The Boss Baby is a 3D computer animated film in which Alec Baldwin plays a suit-wearing baby, who teams up with his 7-year-old brother against the corporate villain Francis E. Francis. Voiced by Tobey Maguire, Lisa Kudrow, Steve Buscemi and Jimmy Kimmel complete the star-studded cast of this anticipated movie.

6. Smurfs: The Lost Village

Starring Neil Patrick Harris, Katy Perry, and Hank Azaria, the box-office friendly flick Smurfs, is all set for a comeback as Smurfs: The Lost Village. This time, Smurfette (Demi Lovato)  is out to find her purpose in the village- where she encounters a forest creature and a wild quest thus ensues.

7. Guardians Of The Galaxies

8. Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is all set to hit theatres next year, with a brand new star cast. The story revolves around Greg Heffley, who convinces his family to embark on a summer road trip, for his great grandmother’s 90th birthday. However, his actual intention behind the trip is to attend what he thinks is a gamer convention. The diversion takes the family off-track and the plot is about how Greg and his family figure their way back home.

9. Cars 3

Pixar has mastered the art of making movies which cater to both adults and kids and Cars 3, we are sure, will be one more feather in their cap. The trailer of the movie is out and has garnered some attention already. Undeterred by a mid-race accident, our hero, Lightning McQueen is determined to get back to racing and prove that he is still the best. If your kid is a car-lover, this one is sure to excite him/her!

10. Despicable Me 3

After wowing the little ones ever since its first film in 2010, Despicable Me 3 is all set for a grand comeback in 2017. The third instalment will have sibling rivalries setting the screen ablaze, as the long-lost twin brothers Gru and Dru finally meet. Steve Carell returns as the voice of Gru, and he is joined by heavyweights Kristen Wiig, Russell Brand and Trey Parker.

11. The Lego Ninjago Movie

After the smashing success of the 2014 film The Lego Movie, this spin-off is sure to excite the kids. The story revolves around six teenagers who are ordinary school kids during the day and turn into warriors at night. When their island home encounters an unprecedented danger, their ninja skills come to the fore.

12. Coco

Although not much information is out in the open yet about this Disney-Pixar production, it seems the film is inspired by Mexican festivities of Día de los Muertos. An adventurous animated film, Coco is one film your entire family will enjoy!

13. Jumanji
