2014-05-01

The annual Duck Derby is one of those events that inspired the creation of Kidding Around Greenville. I accidentally missed this event year after year only to hear my friends talk about how much fun they had watching the ducks cascade over Reedy River Falls at the downtown Falls Parks. So, this year I want to be sure that none of Kidding Around Greenville’s readers miss out. We’ve mentioned the Duck Derby a couple times already, but today I have the latest details of schedule and events for you! (P.S. Did I mention that this event is FREE?) ~Bethany

When: This Saturday, May 3, 2014, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Duck Derby Race is at 2:30 p.m.)

Where: Falls Park, downtown Greenville

What is the Duck Derby?

The Duck Derby is first and foremost a local charity fundraiser to support the Greenville Rotary Club (see a list of the local charities that the Greenville Rotary Club supports here). Families can purchase rubber ducks to help raise money and race for prizes!
