According to the magazine, aside from the beauty of Pia’s face, brain, and soul, what makes her the most beautiful woman in the universe is her own story. “It inspires and it empowers. It is about dreams as much as it is about adversities. It is the story of everyone’s journey through life,” the magazine said. Last August 1, Pia was also named as the “sexiest woman alive” by Esquire Philippines. The magazine made the announcement through its official Facebook page. A photo of the magazine’s August issue was posted on the page with the reigning Miss Universe on its cover.
