Famous online writer Lang Leav — who is the author of two published prose and poetry books, Love and Misadventure and Lullabies — will soon have her first novel published.

The enchanting work of contemporary author and artist Lang Leav swings between the whimsical and woeful, according to her website. Currently, she is represented by the New York literary agent Al Zuckerman from Writers House.
According to a report from GMA, Leav started gaining her readers through Tumblr, where the poetry she was posting was shared by millions of people online. The theme of her works is mostly on heartbreak, which became a hit among the readers of the younger generation. Leav’s page is peppered with comments detailing breakups, almosts, letting gos and moving ons.
Leav said she wants to defend love, not hopeless romanticism; “It’s a misconception that love is just a fluffy thing. People don’t realize that who you fall in love with and who loves you back determines so much in life.”
In 2013, Lang launched Love and Misadventure, which became Amazon’s #1 Bestseller and is currently available from major bookstores worldwide including Barnes & Noble, Kinokuniya, Fully Booked, Waterstones, Periplus and Chapters/Indigo.
For her novel, the date of the release is not yet determined.
“No official date yet but there will be plenty of copies available in the Philippines once Sad Girls is released,” Leav replied on the comment of a Filipino who was asking if the novel will be sold in bookstores in the Philippines.
