It consists of 16 squares of six different flavours namely mango mousse, raspberry earl grey, carrot cake, coconut, green tea and the classic cheesecake. Each of these cheery-looking mini cakes are topped with various Christmassy decorations such as snowflakes, gingerbread man, stars and holly made of icing or chocolate. Our favourites are the carrot cake which is topped with cream cheese, as well as, mango mousse, made of almond sponge, layered with mango mousse and fresh mangoes and topped with mango jelly and a fresh raspberry which is a very refreshing treat.

Choux pastry profiteroles are piped generously with whiskey custard and gorgeously stacked up in a “cone”. It is further beautified with caramelized pistachios and icing snowflakes, followed by chocolate hazelnut cream piped near the base which is made of chocolate sponge surrounded by an “Oreo” crust. This dessert gives a good contrasting mix of creamy and crunchy textures, while you get a kick out of the subtle taste of whiskey.
Besides the two new takeaway treats from The Deli between 1 and 26 December 2016, customers can also look forward to savoury delights such as the “Wu Xi” Turkey. Do note that advance orders of five days are required and guests may visit The Deli to place their takeaway orders. Online orders will begin from 1 December 2016.
