OKLAHOMA CITY- Sooner fans who are already thinking ahead to the Red River Rivalry will be able to set those travel plans in stone.

The Heartland Flyer is already accepting reservations for the “Big Game Train.”

For $55 per person round-trip, passengers can enjoy a lively, spirit-filled trip and get in game mode as they travel from Oklahoma City to Dallas with other fans.

Amtrak’s Heartland Flyer is scheduled to leave from Santa Fe Depot in Oklahoma City at 8:25 a.m. on Friday, October 11.

It will arrive in downtown Dallas Union Station at 2:10 p.m., just in time for passengers to enjoy pre-game festivities.

The train stops in Norman, Purcell, Pauls Valley, Ardmore, Gainesville and Fort Worth.

Organizers say they are adding an observation coach to allow passengers to have a panoramic view of their trip.

On the return trip, the Flyer will depart from Dallas Union Station at 2:25 p.m. on Sunday, October 13 and will arrive in Oklahoma City at 9:39 p.m.
