**Description and Responsibilities:**

**POSITION SUMMARY**

The Director of Talent Acquisition is an integral member of the HR team located at the North America state-of-the-art innovation center in Beloit, Wisconsin. The director is instrumental in helping the organization build a sustainable pipeline of talent for future organizational growth.

This position will lead the development and execution of best in class sourcing, attraction, recruitment and selection strategies aligned with business and functional requirements. This role is also responsible for the full cycle of talent acquisition across graduate, professional and leadership roles, and managing and developing a high performing talent acquisition team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop collaborative relationships with the North America HR, business and functional leadership teams/hiring managers to provide staffing expertise, market related intelligence, and counsel on a variety of staffing issues and improve talent acquisition effectiveness.

* Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies, ensuring attraction and selection of world-class talent across all professional and leadership openings. Provide and direct innovative sourcing solutions for difficult to fill or unique roles through specialized programs and targeted channels to ensure the timely fill of openings.

* Monitor the recruiting workflow and provide direction for prioritizing the requisition load to ensure attainment of service level expectations.

* Develop an integrated workforce planning strategy and central repository of candidate information with an emphasis on talent pipeline and feeder pool development to help meet future workforce needs and decrease time to fill.

* Manage and oversee the Graduate recruitment and selection process, inclusive of career fairs, functional workforce planning, campus interviews, university relations management, internship programs, etc.

* Manage a requisition workload and engage in day-to-day recruitment of senior level positions in partnership with business and functional leadership.

* Manage and develop a team of high performing talent acquisition specialists to deliver high quality candidates to the business in a timely manner. Provide functional expertise and training to hiring managers as needed to build their capability in selecting top talent for the organization.

* Partner with Marketing Communications and Employee Communications and Engagement colleagues to develop and implement a strong employer brand and employee value proposition initiatives to position Kerry as an employer of choice amongst professional communities and passive candidates.

* Manage and oversee the Applicant Tracking System technology, ensuring optimum use of system capabilities to capture required data, provide reporting, streamline efforts and ensure efficiency in all processes and procedures.

* Monitor, track and analyze open requisitions, recruitment data, and key performance indicators to measure the success of the function and team. Provide executive reporting related to hiring sources, time to fill, quality of hire, cost per hire, etc. Lead recruitment meetings as required across the business or functions.

* Establish and oversee the Recruitment team budget, monitoring and reporting on costs throughout the year and identifying areas for cost saving opportunities. Manage relationships with appropriate third party vendors, including contract negotiations and supplier management.

* Ensure the function’s full compliance with applicable federal and state employment regulations; Review and recommend appropriate assessment tests by level or position as needed.

A highly motivated, self-confident, and successful leader with solid functional expertise and creativity around the full life cycle of recruiting. Must be a team leader with an energy level and drive that motivates those around her/him to persevere through changing priorities to meet agreed upon service levels. Must be a self-starter, comfortable working in a fast paced team environment. A strategic thinker and implementer of recruitment strategies, processes and procedures.

**The fully qualified candidate has the following skill set and experience:**

* Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or HR certification a plus

* Minimum 10 years of broad based talent acquisition experience across all levels in a high volume, fast paced, complex environment; Food industry recruitment experience highly desirable

* 7-10 years progressive experience in managerial/director role in recruitment leadership

* Well-developed experience in using multiple recruiting strategies and sources (including advanced use of social networking sites) for passive and active candidate recruitment

* Demonstrated experience and success in development of innovative sourcing and recruitment strategies for unique or difficult to fill roles

* Success in attracting, engaging and hiring all levels and types of positions, inclusive of senior leadership roles

* Proven experience in hiring, managing and developing a high performing talent acquisition team

* Solid knowledge of and ability to practically implement best practices in recruitment processes and procedures that fit Kerry’s culture

* Experience in using and optimizing applicant tracking/ATS systems to support recruiting operations

* Extensive track record of partnering successfully with all levels leadership in a creative, dynamic, fast-paced environment

* Excellent relationship building, interpersonal and influence skills with candidates, vendors and colleagues

* Strong negotiation skills and ability to deal with highly sensitive information in a confidential manner

* Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations

* Demonstrated initiative to analyze and resolve problems quickly, efficiently, and collaboratively

* Self-motivated and takes initiative to do further analysis when deeper insights can be achieved

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and analyses simultaneously while being able to meet deadlines

* Ability to develop and maintain an effective level of business literacy about Kerry’s strategy, culture, technology offerings, customer base and end-use markets, financial position and competition in order to most effectively carry out their duties and weigh in on business decisions
