A fast growing global food and beverage manufacturing organization is looking to hire a self-motivated, energetic team player as Financial Analyst for itsDry Beverage portfolio, which is part of the North America Taste & Nutrition Business. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance or business professional looking to develop broader business experience and leadership skills for career progression. This position is located at the North American Headquarters in Southern WI. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, enjoy challenging face-to-face meetings with the ability to build trust, confidence and relationships.
**Sales, Pricing, and Margin Management**
+ Understand market trends, dynamics, price/volume trends and outlooks in order to recommend actions that lead to profitable growth
+ Assess key commodity markets risk and the impact on pricing and inventory management
+ Support sales/marketing with analysis aimed at customer retention, pricing, business at risk, new business and business lost impacts
+ Determine, validate and communicate quotes, credits and pricing to business teams
+ Manage new business pipeline reporting and assess impact of new opportunities on the business portfolio
+ Evaluate customer incentive plans (rebates and trade promotions) both in advance of offering and subsequent to the implementation
+ On-going margin analysis, root cause categorization, opportunity identification and implementation of corrective actions to optimize margin and mitigate risk
+ Seeks opportunities to fully optimize cost and demonstrates an understanding of all cost drivers and their impact
+ Support customer-centric approach to sales process
**Business Support**
+ Analyze performance across a number of KPI’s to understand potential growth areas and areas of the business where problems/issues exist
+ Key resource to business unit in execution of business strategies including marketing, selling, and profitability improvement
+ Support executive and leadership meeting agendas including presentation material, analyses and support
+ Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish KPI targets and to provide variance analysis
+ Gain in depth knowledge and understanding of product portfolio and various customer applications
**Qualifications** **:**
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in accounting/finance/business or related area
+ 2 or more years of professional experience, either in a commercial finance or operational finance
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate professionally to all levels of an organization
+ Excellent time management and organizational skills
+ Ability to work as part of a team environment
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (MS Project desirable)
+ Proficiency working with ERP systems (SAP a plus), business intelligence systems, CRM systems and Pricing systems
