**Description and Responsibilities** **:**

Supply Chain Manager’s are responsible for aligning and driving the strategic and operational supply chain direction of a specified business unit.

The successful candidate will develop, implement and maintain the supply chain management system, oversee and manage the overall operations and ensure uninterrupted and timely delivery of materials to production in accordance with requirements.

**Requirements:**

+ Work directly with Demand Planning team on forecast concerns and question to improve supply targets based on market demand changes and trends

+ Work directly with Contract Manufacturing and Suppliers to ensure supply targets are maintained

+ Actively participate with new product development and launch

+ Proactively facilitate and recommended re-engineering, best practices & consensus between functional areas and business units

+ Strong understanding of supply planning, forecasting techniques, and operational systems

+ Supports operations with supply chain related issues and communicates updates

+ Manage performance expectations with contract manufacturing, suppliers

+ Proactively resolves issues to help drive long term resolution for various operational inefficiencies within the Supply Chain

+ Develop, execute and manage an integrated and measurable supply chain strategy

+ Achieve inventory, cost targets and system objectives

+ Ensure production planning is aligned to meet demand

+ Develop and implement logistic cost savings by analyzing supply, demand and tracking spend

+ Ensure deadlines are met efficiently

+ Maintain relationships with external warehousing and distribution partners

+ Develop continuous improvement processes, modify existing procedures, minimizing costs, increasing accuracy, and improving customer service

+ Oversee forecasting in order to identify changes or determine the effect on supply chain

+ Analyze inventories in order to increase turns, reduce waste, and optimize customer delivery

**Qualifications** **:**

+ 2+ years proven experience working in supply chain; food and beverage industry experience, preferred

+ Team player who can bring prior continuous improvement ideas and creative thinking to a highly complex, always evolving, fast growing organization

+ Change minded-proven experience implementing and driving change within an organization, a plus

+ Prior experience with demand forecast planning

+ Experience with contract manufacturing, production planning supply chain functionality and a strong foundational understanding of supply chain

+ Strong analytical capabilities; able to proactively identify market trends, seasonality and promotional impact

+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Systems and related software and/or systems

+ Strong verbal and written English speaking communication skills

+ Ability to work collaboratively within all levels of the organization

+ Prior experience supervising direct reports in addition to coaching and developing, a plus

+ Experience working with multiple plants for one business unit

+ Experience working in a high volume, (multiple sku’s) or highly complex supply chain matrix environment

+ Entrepreneurial in spirit, proactive, able and prefers to work autonomously, but excels in a collaborative environment

+ Able to travel to facilities and meet with teams at local level as needed

+ BA/BS Degree or its equivalent in relevant area – Supply Chain/Manufacturing Operations, Business, Economics, Engineering **,** etc.
