**Description and Responsibilities** **:**

**POSITION SUMMARY**

The Director of Human Resources will be an integral member of the Dairy and Culinary business leadership team. Located at the North American headquarters in Beloit, Wisconsin, this position will operate as a strategic HR business partner/advisor to the business, aligning HR strategies with organizational needs in the areas of: talent management and organizational design, change management, leadership and functional development, succession planning, labor and employee relations, labor contract negotiations, executive, professional and graduate level recruitment, acquisition and divestiture support, employee engagement and retention, and Federal and State legal compliance.

This individual must also develop and maintain an effective level of business literacy about Kerry’s strategy, culture, technology offerings, customer base and end-use markets, financial position and competition in order to most effectively carry out their duties and weigh in on business decisions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Develop strong, collaborative, and effective relationships with the business and finance leadership teams, and all levels of employees, while acting as a strong and visible people advocate.

+ As primary HR Business Partner, coach and help build the leadership team’s expertise and effectiveness around all areas of leadership, people management and engagement.

+ Participate in the recruitment process and facilitate the development and execution of recruitment and retention strategies for the business and finance function, ensuring attraction of world-class talent across all key graduate, professional and leadership openings.

+ In conjunction with leadership, facilitate and advance the overall talent planning process (talent review and succession planning) across all levels of salaried employees. Ensure proper alignment between organizational design/structure and people capability to support the organization in meeting key business and functional strategic objectives.

+ Serve as Chief negotiator for all labor contract negotiations and oversee all labor matters for the Dairy & Culinary business. Maintain union free status at all non-union facilities.

+ Manage and develop a high performing field HR team to support the manufacturing sites and become pipeline for the function.

+ Drive and support the development of talent through proper onboarding, career pathing and development planning.

+ Drive and support key organizational change and communications initiatives as relates to the business and finance function.

+ Work in aligned partnership with EC&E and leverage region-wide programs and tools to establish a baseline of employee engagement within the business and facilitate the development of action plans for improvement.

+ Support the development and/or execution of other HR initiatives or projects rolled out during the performance period across areas of responsibility.

+ Perform duties related to due diligence and acquisition integration, as well as handle business divestitures or rationalizations from the HR perspective.

+ Solid experience with a full range of human resources functions and demonstrated prior success in leading the implementation of HR initiatives and change programs

+ Excellent relationship building, interpersonal and influence skills with clients and colleagues

+ Strong knowledge of US employment laws and regulations

**Education** Must have an undergraduate degree. An advanced Human Resource degree/certification and/or MBA is preferred.
