ITSM / Service Delivery Manager

Role

Reporting to the Technical Infrastructure Manager, the Service Delivery Manager generally has the following responsibilities:

Monitors and reports on service delivery metrics and overall performance.

Coordinates planned changes with customer service, change management and operations.

Maintains relationships with technical teams, IT and business partners.

Communicates on major service outages/escalations.

Manages service delivery teams and individual objectives, performance and development.

Develops and operates a broad set of service level management tools

Requirements

The Service Delivery Manager is expected to:-

Demonstrate Subject matter depth and breadth in the IT Service Change Management competency.

To demonstrate Subject matter depth and breadth in the IT Service Change Management competency, one should demonstrate knowledge of and ability to reduce the impact of related incidents on IT service to ensure standard processes and procedures are adhered to, and to improve IT service operations.

Creates standardized procedures for business justification demonstrations in IT service change management.

Advocates the use of effectiveness measures in demand analysis for proposed IT service changes.

Provides insight into developing solutions for infrastructure changes in IT service.

Contributes to the establishment and use of best practices in IT service change management.

Elaborates on industry trends and directions in IT service change management.

Generalizes on the value of understanding past and future perspectives in IT service change management.

PRINCE2 Project Management experience and certification mandatory

ITILv3 mandatory

Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent

Systems Administrator

(1 Vacancy)

Role

Reporting to the System Manager, the person of the Systems Admin shall be responsible for:-

Scheduling and Overseeing Preventive Maintenance of the Server/System Infrastructure

Ensure 99.99% availability of the System Infrastructure

Serve as a Level 1 escalation for all System incidents

Serve as part of Resolution team for System Incidents

Ensure System documentation is updated

Manage System Inventory and spares

Manage Configuration of all Systems (backup configuration and application of standardized configuration templates to Systems)

Liaise with Service Providers to ensure agreed SLAs are maintained 100%

Continues training/certification in relevant knowledge areas

Liaise with the ITSM/Service Delivery manager to manage projects and IT&S processes and procedures.

Ensure System licences are valid and initiate acquisition of the same before expiry

Management and development of Microsoft and Linux environment including: IIS, SQL Server, Apache

Active Directory, security, replication, back-up and virtualization

Providing support to internal and external customers

Development and maintenance of security protocols and controls

Maintenance and development of business continuity solutions and disaster recovery (DR, back-ups, contingency planning)

Perform regular audits and performance monitoring of mission critical infrastructure and processes

Requirements

RHCE or equivalent

Microsoft System Administration

Telco / Service Provider experience is an advantage

4-6 years' experience managing Systems running on Linux and Microsoft

Mail Server Setup and Administration (MS Exchange, postfix etc )

Strong troubleshooting skills is key

Team Player

Degree in Computer Science/Telecommunication or related degree

Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and IT services

Minimum 2 years hands on systems administration experience

Highly motivated with demonstrable enthusiasm for role

IT project management experience

Experience of Window IIS technologies including configuration, administration, monitoring and troubleshooting. Windows Servers 2008 onwards; networking, DNS, load balancing and performance monitoring tools

Ability to configure and administer IIS, SQL/MySQL/Oracle DB Server and Active Directory

Experience implementing and managing hosted or web based systems within a Windows environment

Setup and Management of load balancing solutions (NGINX, F5, Citrix)

Experience of implementation and managing high availability and rapidly scalable environments

Internet technologies - DNS, SMTP, Proxies, Cache

Security best practices (hardening, vulnerability scans, DMZ etc.)

Storage and back-up methodologies

Network Administrators

Reporting to the Network Manager, the person/s of the Network Admin shall be responsible for

Scheduling and executing Preventive Maintenance of the Network Infrastructure

Ensure 99.99% availability of the Network Infrastructure

Serve as a Level 1 escalation for all Network incidents

Serve as part of Resolution Team for Network Incidents

Ensure Network documentation is updated

Manage Network Inventory and spares

Manage Configuration of all Network equipment (backup configuration and application of Standardized configuration templates to Network equipment)

Liaise with Service Providers to ensure agreed SLAs are maintained 100%

Continuous training to keep abreast with Network technologies

Liaise with the ITSM/Service Delivery manager to manage projects and IT&S processes and procedures.

Ensure Network licences are valid and initiate acquisition of the same before expiry

Requirements

CCNA or CCNP required.

Telco / Service Provider experience is an advantage

2-4 years experience managing a large Network of at least 50 nodes

Strong troubleshooting skills is key

Team Player

Degree in Computer Science/Telecommunication or related degree

Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and IT services

Experience in Cisco Nexus switches, Juniper QFX, High Performance Routers (Cisco ASR1k etc), Advanced BGP configuration, Firewall hardening with Cisco ASA and Juniper SRX firewalls, Network Access Control and Traffic Engineering

Network Manager

(1 Vacancy)

Reporting to the Technical Infrastructure Manager, the person of the Network Manager shall be responsible for: -

Managing a team of Network Administrators

Scheduling and Overseeing Preventive Maintenance of the Network Infrastructure

Ensure 99.99% availability of the Network Infrastructure

Serve as a Level 2 escalation for all Network incidents

Serve as the Resolution Manager for Network Incidents

Ensure Network documentation is updated

Manage Network Inventory and spares

Manage Configuration of all Network equipment (backup configuration and application of standardized configuration templates to Network equipment)

Plan both Capex and Opex budget for the Network and related components

Liaise with Service Providers to ensure agreed SLAs are maintained 100%

Ensure the network team is upskilled and fit for role in an environment of evolving Network technologies

Liaise with the ITSM/Service Delivery manager to manage projects and IT&S processes and procedures.

Ensure Network licences are valid and initiate acquisition of the same before expiry

Requirements

CCNP required. CCIE R&S, SP, Datacenter or Security is an added advantage

Telco / Service Provider experience is an advantage

4-6 years experience managing a Network of at least 100 nodes

Strong troubleshooting skills is key

Team Player

People Management skills

Degree in Computer Science/Telecommunication or related degree

Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and IT services
