Wednesday September 17, 2014 - CORD rebels in Kwale County have been put on notice to follow what former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, says or face the wrath of voters.

Speaking as he launched the signature collection drive for CORD’s Okoa Kenya, Kwale Senator, Boy Juma Boy, warned CORD rebels that they will be stoned should they go contrary to the party position as demands the Political Parties Act, which requires them to tore the line of their respective parties and coalition.

He noted that rebels have no option but to follow what Raila Odinga says and if he’s said it is a referendum, everyone must obey or face serious consequences.

“If you are subscribed to a party, then you must adhere to its stand and manifesto’, said Boy.

“Let everyone adhere to Political Parties Act so that we do away with these promises. We want the Government to act and should not be seen cheering them even when they are messing up. The referendum is going to formalize everything,” he added.
