The Summer holidays are finally here and Germany won the World Cup 2014. We have rounded up the latest in children’s summer holiday camps, sports activities and family days out for you to explore and enjoy. Whatever you do make sure you spend time with your little ones, as one day you will just be a memory for them. Make sure its a good one. Wishing you all a great summer.

We all deserve from time off and good quality ‘mummy-me time’. What better way to celebrate the end of the school year than a pamper morning gathering local Mums like you for a bit of pampering, breakfast, beauty treatments and leaving feeling refreshed  with a VIP goody bag. What’s on this Summer for you and your little ones

If your child loves dancing, singing, acting and is looking for a way to develop skills, make new friends, and have lots of fun then come and join us! Our programme is a magical experience suitable for children aged 4-16 at all levels and abilities. We also offer Saturday classes during term time. Dates 21st – 25th July 2014 10.00am – 3.00pm. Dates 22-24. They also offer Saturday classes in Hip-Hop, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Singing and more for children from 2 years old during term time. Click here for more information.

Mini-Engineers LEGO summer camps at Imperial College, South Kensington from 11th July to 25th July for 2 to 3 hours each day.  Suitable for ages 5 to 11 years. Recently launched, Mini-Engineers is a children’s Innovation and Inspiration Lab (“iLab”) where kids can design, build and express their creativity through hands on learning in a fun and challenging environment. Summer LEGO activities include: By The Seaside Team Build, Mini Robotics Spinner and Gears, Story Telling and Creative Writing Camp, Aerospace Camp , Transportation Camp. The Petits Painters will be running an art and French Summer Club for children ages 3+. Run by native French speakers in an immersive environment, children are encouraged to express themselves creatively and in French through stories, art, songs and play. For older children and adults, they organise Fine Art workshops to learn different art techniques, about French art and language. Little Gym Summer Camp at Westfield London. Offering 2 or 3 jam-packed hours of fun and activities. The specially developed themed camp curriculum combines physical fitness and play. During our 3 hour camps the children even have an opportunity to show off their creative side with our themed arts and crafts! It is the perfect break for kids (and parents!) during holiday time. The West End is coming to Chelsea this summer! A series of weeklong workshops for children aged 7 to 16 exploring a different hit show each day and culminating in an all-singing, all-dancing performance! Their teachers are the top West End performers from The Lion King, Matilda, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory and Wicked, who will share stories and insights about each of these shows. The workshops present a fantastic opportunity for kids who love musicals and for parents who want to instil confidence, develop budding theatrical talent or just give their kids lots of fun during the holidays, the workshops promise high-octane fun! Little Lumis: A Summer Holiday Yoga Camp For Kids. Monday 28 July – Friday 1 August, 9:15 – 11:15am. This yoga camp is for children who love to be physically challenged, mentally stimulated but also want to have fun and make new friends along the way! It is a playful, exploratory approach to yoga that centres around children’s own creativity. Yoga is a wonderful way to increase children’s co-ordination, self- awareness, confidence and self-esteem while they stretch and strengthen their bodies. Chelsea Quavers Music Workshops (Ages 5-10) is running from Monday 14th – Friday 18th July (1-5 days). Jam packed full of fun, stimulating & educational activities! Imaginatively & creatively designed to enable children to explore the multi-faceted world of music. This summer’s projects include Holst’s “The Planets”, Britten’s “Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra” and making instruments.  Singing rock, pop, classical, gospel and traditional songs! Create and Make Family Workshops at John Lewis every Tuesdays throught August,  from 10am -1pm. Every Tuesday in August the Design Museum’s amazing Learning team will be on site at the iconic John Lewis flagship Store on Oxford Street. Dwelling in Unity. Sat 19th July 2014. Various times, Times: 11.30am, 12.15pm and 1.15pm. Chickenshed Kensington and Chelsea will be taking over Exhibition Road, the cultural heartland of London, outside the Science and Natural History Museum with an explosive physical theatre promenade performance, created and performed by adult theatre members, students from the Brit School and accompanied by live percussionists from the Royal College of Music. This event will be part of the InTRANSIT Festival – a cultural event now in its sixth year that programmes exciting cultural events that take place on the streets and in parks and public places around this exceptional borough.
