Some baby showers can turn out to be a little dull and sometimes even a bit awkward. It doesn’t have to be this way, there are plenty of fun activities to choose from. All you have to do is pick some that you think the mum to be and her guests will enjoy. You don’t have to do all the same games that everyone does, make your baby shower stand out and try some of the following activities and games.
1. Guess the baby food flavour
Pass round a few different flavours of baby food and get everyone to write down what they think each one is. They can do this by simply looking at it, tasting it or having a wild guess.
2. Guess the size of the belly with a length of string
Give everyone some string and ask them to cut it to the length they think would perfectly fit around the mum to be’s belly. Then test each piece of string to see who got it closest.

6. Bib decorating competition
Give everyone a blank bib and get them to decorate their bibs. Awards a prize for the best one.
7. Pass the dirty diaper
This isn’t as bad as it sounds. Get a diaper and put chocolate spread on it and get everyone to pass it round to music, then when the music stops the person holding the dirty diaper gets eliminated. A bit like pass the parcel.
8. Baby balloons
This is quite a fun game where you split everyone into teams. Each team member has to blow a balloon up, tie it up and put it under their belly in turn. The first team to have all members finish winds.

13. Alphabet book
Write each letter of the alphabet on a piece of paper. Then give each person a few pieces of paper and ask them to draw something for each letter. For example, A is for apple and you would have a drawing of an apple. The mother can use all these drawings to help their child learn the alphabet.
