Be sure to include the term in the section (for example Fall 13 is 1138)

First digit is always 1

13 in the middle = Year

Last digit = Month the term starts on

May need to add _a, _b, etc. to the Section field depending on the number of users. Process still TBD

Give assigned ID access in Bb and inform them

ID will advise if all updates for Undergrad Online Student Orientation are made

Update email draft (done by Patty Delgado)

Course go live date is 2 weeks after the current term’s 25% add/drop date.

Once email draft has been updated and course updates are complete. Submit an SSD ticket with the Section ID and updated email draft to Orlando Hernandez and Martin Perez so they can start upload process and switch the PS feed to the updated term.  Indicate course go live date.

SSD receives a feed of 2.0 students. The feed includes all 2.0 students regardless of status as long as they are in our program plan/subplan codes. From there the students are filtered based on the “student records admit term”. We ignore those who are not part of the group who are currently expected to go through orientation.

SSD will send a test email, verify for accuracy and that links work

If test email is fine, have them go live with the process

Inform ID and Support Services that course has gone live

Process must be done from start to finish every time course is to run.

ONL Hold Process

Semester admits report is run daily starting on the go live date of the orientation course to identify all newly admitted students for the semester
