1. Supervises the two Area superintendents (1 for Kevlar, Zytel and Nomex Paper, 1 for Tyvek)

2. Currently acting as the Area Superintendent for Nomex Fibers (provides direct supervision for the four shift supervisors in Nomex Fibers).

3. Supervises the two Quality Managers (1 manages Nomex Fibers and Paper, 1 manages Tyvek, Kevlar and Zytel).

4. SI and SQI follow-up and data entry as necessary.

5. Participates in Monthly Quality review meetings with Area Managers and Quality Managers in Nomex Paper and in other areas as scheduled/requested

6. Works with the Site HR manager to assist with MLS hiring process (Interview candidates and participate in the on-boarding process). Involved in Management transition and interviewing process whenever a new Supervisor or Superintendent is required in any of the Businesses

7. Reviews and approves the Staffing Plan for all areas (assigns new hires to areas and shift as well as evaluating and making recommendations for advancement of personnel to higher skill set positions)

8. Dotted line management to MLS Safety Manager in support of Safety response to any incidents across the site, weekly auditing, shift auditing, etc.

9. Provide/Report weekly on key business metrics in weekly meeting with DuPont Contract Administrators in all businesses and B & R leadership. Metrics include: Safety Energy model data, Staffing levels/vacancies in each business unit, overtime percentages in each business unit, continuous improvement milestones, Business Unit key metric reporting statistics for all of our business units.

10. Participates in safety audits weekly, monthly, etc. with each business.

11. Payroll authorization/oversight of George Morton, Tom Shaffer, Mike Smith, Shift Safety Auditors (2), 4 Supervisors/4 Shifts within Nomex Fibers. Also approves time sheet corrections and updates for time office.

12. Development and maintenance/upgrade of pay for skills programs in each of the Businesses.

(Currently developing a proposal for Nomex Fibers, and may pursue this in Kevlar later this year.)

13. Partnering with B&R Quality Manager and B&R Tyvek Superintendent in the Training Matrix development and upgrade to the existing Training Processes. This is in the final phase of implementation.

14. Working on the transition plan and implementation of the Shipping functions in Tyvek, Nomex Fibers, and Kevlar into B&R MLS Business.

15. Daily/Weekly contact with DuPont Contract Administrators in each of the 5 Businesses that we support, as well as Site Contact Administrators (Keith and Jeff) regarding any concerns and issues that need to be addressed.

16. Attending and participation in Shift rack-up meetings, (now almost exclusively in Tyvek but in the past this has included all the Businesses), Daily and weekly Tyvek Quality Meeting, daily morning meeting in Tyvek with Contract Administrator.

17. Partner with Superintendents and Supervisors in all the Businesses to target process improvement opportunities, productivity and quality problem solving, personnel issues, etc. (Example: Drafted and implemented

a Tyvek slitter improvement Action Plan, Slitting Work stream weekly meetings with Engineering/Maintenance, etc.)

Partner with Superintendents and Supervisors in progressive discipline issues and counseling in all Businesses.

19. Periodically meet with B&R MLS Leadership, (Shift Supervisors and Superintendents, etc.), for Business updates and concerns, and Leadership Development (need to do more of these!)

20. 24/7/365 availability via telephone and e-mail for all Production/Quality/Safety/Personnel issues that may arise within each Business (Tyvek, Nomex Papers, Nomex Fibers, Kevlar, Zytel)
