Position Title: Associate Project Manager - Engineering
Location: Orange, Texas
Position Description
KBR is seeking an Associate Project Manager - Engineering and the functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Manage multiple engineering projects large and small at client facilities.
Meeting with client teams to determine project objectives, cost, duration and readiness to engage engineering resources.
Leading project team to develop scope and estimates.
Conducting meetings with the client, KBR engineering and construction project team members and issuing meeting minutes and reports,
Writing multiple Work Initiation Request for each project to obtain approval and monitoring of engineering cost management.
Responsible for generation of E&HO budgets and schedules constructed by others.
Manage production of engineering and design deliverable, including calculations, drawings, 3D Models, specifications and equipment requisitions.
Providing construction support of engineered project installations.

Qualifications:
Requirements
Previous engineering project management required.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the petrochemical industry.
Engineering degree preferred but not required.
Must be literate in computer programs such as word processing and spreadsheet development.
Proven exceptional verbal and written communication skills preferred.
Proven ability to lead teams to successful completion is preferred.
Safety:
Must be able to sit or stand for periods of up to 4 hours.
Must be capable of climbing stairs and ladders in an industrial complex.
Must be capable of donning
a 5 minute Escape Pack and carry an 8 lb. bottle of air to an evacuation point and then if necessary to carry the same bottle for while walking app. 10 minutes to an alternate evacuation point
