» Lamsborn will sponsor its 38th International Hiking Days Aug. 23 and 24. Start and finish will be at the Dorfgemeinschaftshaus (community hall). Starting times will be on Saturday 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the 6- and 10-kilometer hikes and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the 20-km hike; and on Sunday 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. for 6- and 10-km and 7 a.m. to noon for the 20-km hike. » Due to its 25 year anniversary USAG Rheinland-Pfalz BOSS holds a scavenger hunt from now through Sep. 10. There are 125 items on the scavenger hunt list. Each item is worth points — the more difficult the task, the more points you earn! The BOSS program that earns the most points wins! The scavenger hunt is open to all BOSS Service Members and the top two point-earners from both Kaiserslautern and Baumholder will receive an Outdoor Recreation Express Trip voucher or a Baumholder ATV Tour for two! » The Ramstein Enlisted Spouses’ Association will host an Aquatic Extravaganza Aug. 30 at the Ramstein Aquatic Center. » ACS Relocation Readiness offers two levels of German language classes: beginners and intermediate. » Color Me Fun Run 3K and “Rock the Block” Party

Three of your favorite Family and MWR facilities are joining together to host the “Rock the Block” Party on Aug. 16! The party kicks off with a Color Me Fun Run at 9 a.m., beginning outside of the Hall of Champions Fitness Center. Following the run, the street outside of the Arts and Crafts Center and Warrior Zone will be full of festivities, to include: live music, BBQ foods, outdoor games, raffles, a craft fair, a pet parade and more! Women’s Equality 5K Run/Walk

Put your running shoes on, it is time for another community run! The Women’s Equality 5K Run/Walk will take place on Aug. 22, beginning at 9 a.m. at Hall of Champions Fitness Center. Categories are male, female and youth under 18 years of age. Awards will be presented to the top three per category. Those who would like to run but not compete may participate for free.
