Tamil hero Suriya is popular in Telugu states with all his films doing good business here. His last film 24 directed by Vikram Kumar performed far better in Telugu, than the Tamil version. The actor will next come up with Singham 3, which is sequel to the 2013 film Singam 2 and the third film in the Singam series.
Since the first two parts were commercial hits in Telugu, expectations are quite high on the third installment. Business of the Telugu states of Singham 3 has been closed, even before the film's shooting is completed. Malkapuram Shivakumar has bought the mass action entertainer's AP and Nizam rights for whopping Rs 18 crores, which is an all time record price for Suriya.
Currently, shooting is progressing in Vizag. Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan are female leads in the film directed by Hari. Singhm 3 in nearing completion. The makers are planning to release the movie simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu on October 28th on the eve of Diwali.
